With the recent release of the 2024 Illinois Report Card for all districts within the state, North Palos School District 117 is celebrating another year of excellence. Every school in the state receives a summative designation based on academic proficiency, academic growth, attendance data, survey responses, and more. Conrady Jr. High, Glen Oaks School, Oak Ridge School, and Dorn School were all awarded the highest "Exemplary" designation, and Sorrick School earned a high "Commendable" rating.

- Reduced Chronic Absenteeism: A concerted effort to reduce chronic absenteeism has yielded impressive results. The district's rate dropped from 19.2% in 2023 to 11.6% in 2024, reflecting the community's dedication to ensuring students are in the classroom and ready to learn.
- Strong English Learner Support: Even while having a large percentage of English Language Learners, North Palos has achieved a remarkable English Learner exit rate of 19.5%, far surpassing the state average of 6.5%. This indicates that English Learners in the district are making significant progress and transitioning to English proficiency at a much faster rate than their peers statewide.
