A Beautiful Night For the Back to School Bash

Over 1,000 people attended the Back to School Bash at Conrady Jr. High on Wednesday, September 18th. The event was a collaborative effort between District 117 and all the Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs) from each school within the district. In addition to being able to meet PTA members and staff, it was an opportunity for all families to come out and have a fun night as a community.

The bash kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, officially commemorating the Conrady Jr. High addition that was completed in August. The sunny day set the perfect backdrop for a fun-filled evening of family activities. Local vendors, groups, and resources were all a part of the celebration, along with many community volunteers to ensure that everyone had an opportunity to have fun in an organized way. Face painting, bounce houses, balloon animals, and a DJ kept the crowd entertained until the party ended.

North Palos School District 117 is an amazing community of students, parents, and staff working together. The Back to School Bash was a great opportunity to see it on full display. Thanks for everyone involved for making it a great night.
